Jefferson County Commission Meeting

A special session of the Jefferson County Commission will be held Thursday, September 13 at 7 pm in the basement of the Charles Town Library (Samuel St. entrance is easiest).
The focus of this special session is legal approaches to the Rockwool situation.
Keep in mind all legal discussion will be in executive session and no public is allowed during that time.
Please contact the Commissioners in advance of the meeting with your concerns!
Tell the JCC to motion to discuss calling on the JCDA to delay consideration of the water bond. The Jefferson County Board of Education has asked for a Human Health Risk Assessment and a pause of construction. The JCC and the JCDA (which JCC controls) should honor that request. If the JCDA does not call for a stop, we want the JCC to motion for a discussion of removing JCDA board members and replacing them with ones who are responsive to county government.
